Headhunter Support Specialist with Movement Search & Delivery
Movement Search & Delivery is working with a client to help them establish their Stormwater business in the coastal North Carolina market and is seeking a senior technical leader to build and expand a stormwater-focused practice. This individual will be responsible for developing local client relationships, securing municipal work, and eventually assembling and managing a small team of engineers.
The position will focus on Stormwater and sits within a broader water-focused division that supports both federal and local government clients. The new hire will play a key role in extending Stormwater services into a region where the company has strong brand recognition but no established water resources team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead stormwater-related consulting efforts for municipal and public-sector clients.
Develop new business opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships.
Manage project delivery, budgets, schedules, and quality.
Oversee financial performance for the local group, including forecasting and resource planning.
Recruit, mentor, and supervise a small team as the workload grows.
Collaborate with senior leaders in other offices to pursue opportunities and share resources.
Serve as the technical lead on stormwater design, modeling, and related infrastructure projects.
Required Background
MUST BE a Professional Engineer license
Strong technical foundation in stormwater engineering
Experience working with local governments on capital improvement or regulatory-driven projects.
Demonstrated ability to interact with clients and contribute to business development.
Prior experience managing projects, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
Suitable for someone currently operating at a senior project manager level and ready to step into a leadership role.
