The Landscape Architect is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing landscaping environments across the Orlando International Airport and Orlando Executive Airport campuses, integrating artistry with environmental planning to create sustainable and visually compelling spaces. This role ensures that all projects balance aesthetics with functionality while maintaining strict compliance with FAA requirements, airport operational standards, and environmental regulations.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in landscape architecture or related field; and Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a large‑scale operations organization to include supervisory responsibilities or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience in an airport, other public sector, or large‑scale hospitality and tourism environment preferred.
Experience with sustainable design and native planting.
Demonstrated knowledge of job costing and cost accounting.
Organizational skills to manage multiple and diverse activities and projects.
Able to interpret detailed information and provide analysis to senior management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
Ability to write technical specifications and contract documents.
Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and 3D modelling software is desired.
