Based in South Windsor, CT, the Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting parts to meet customer specifications and assisting the Quality Manager in related tasks with limited supervision. Essential Job Functions

Accurately perform hardness and other tests and record results as required. Calibrate all testing equipment accurately and on schedule. Perform audits, weekly probes, surveys, etc., as needed or defined by procedure and/or schedule. May be required to complete conformance certificates and/or other related paperwork. Meet all specification requirements per BQS. Report any deviation, problem, or irregularity to the supervisor or management immediately. Practice and promote safety and good housekeeping. Perform other tasks as designated by the position. Assure safe care of customers’ inventory to prevent loss or damage. Demonstrate punctuality, clear communication, collaboration, and acceptance of constructive criticism. Qualifications

Citizenship or permanent resident status required for ITAR compliance. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year in the heat‑treating industry or related field preferred. Ability to develop working knowledge of all testing equipment and terminology. Experience reading/interpreting blueprints/specifications preferred. Detail‑oriented with manual dexterity. Willingness to work overtime or any shift, including weekends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases. Fluency in written and spoken English. Physical & Mental Demands

Extended periods of sitting and standing in an industrial environment. Manual dexterity for data entry. Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach for functions. Capacity to lift up to 35 lbs. Exposure to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity possible. Must possess cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential duties. Effective oral and written communication skills. Visual acuity for reading documents and computer screens. Auditory capability for in‑person and telephone communication. Equal Employment Opportunity
