Overview
As a Commercial Roofing Sales Estimator at Bone Dry, you will play a pivotal role in our sales team. You will combine analytical skills with sales expertise to estimate project costs, prepare compelling proposals, and close deals with valued clients. Your primary responsibility is to represent Bone Dry with professionalism and care while driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and delivering tailored solutions. Duties & Responsibilities
Sell and estimate commercial roofing jobs; perform take-offs, write proposals, communicate with business owners or property managers Write pick list, order materials, arrange for permits Ensure customers are aware of referral programs Generate and maintain relationships with property managers, general contractors, and other local business avenues Qualifications
Experience in EPDM, TPO, and PVC membrane roofing; familiarity with modified, shingle, and metal standing seam roofing preferred Ability to read drawings and spec books, or willingness to learn quickly for take-offs, estimates, proposals Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Professional communication skills with business owners and property managers Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Pass a background check 1-2 years customer service experience Construction/roofing industry experience preferred 2+ years experience in commercial roofing (repairs, production, or sales) Must be able to climb ladder safely and work at elevated heights on roof tops Compensation & Benefits
