Job Description We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Millworks Sales Specialist to join our team at the Alpha Warehouse in Destrehan, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in millwork products and sales, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our clients.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in selecting millwork products that meet their needs and specifications.
Provide detailed product knowledge and technical support regarding millwork materials, finishes, and installation.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and designers.
Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and sales orders accurately and timely.
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and inventory management.
Stay current on industry trends, new products, and competitive offerings.
Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the millworks division.
Qualifications
Proven experience in millworks sales or related building materials sales.
Strong knowledge of millwork products including moldings, doors, cabinetry components, and trim.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings is a plus.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and sales software tools.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
