Responsibilities
Utilize a consultative sales approach to sell Construction and Solid Waste services to small and less complex commercial accounts in an assigned territory/segment.
Prospect, close, and achieve sales revenue goals by developing and implementing sound selling strategies that ensure revenue growth.
Prepare and execute cold calls to influence potential customers into setting appointments.
Conduct pre‑sales activities to understand customer needs and prepare for the meeting, gathering marketing materials and pricing plans.
Use sales productivity software tools such as Prospect, Customer Database, Proposal Program, and Pricing Tools.
Facilitate prospect follow‑up meetings.
Match services with customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of customers, pricing, and competition.
Use in‑depth industry and company knowledge to recommend equipment optimization and leasing options.
Negotiate and close sales by effectively communicating alternatives and positions to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Prepare and deliver complex sales proposals.
Conduct post‑sale administrative work to ensure product/service implementation is successful.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of sales experience required.
