Cardiovascular-Renal Sales Consultant – West TN
The Cardiovascular-Renal Sales Consultant partners with company leadership to develop and execute brand‑strategic plans for BIPI and co‑promoted cardio‑renal‑metabolic (CRM) products. The role focuses on key cardiovascular and nephrology healthcare providers, including cardiology and nephrology specialists, advanced practice clinicians, and allied professionals. The consultant oversees sales activities across teaching hospitals, community hospitals, federal and military facilities, heart‑failure clinics, managed care settings, and integrated delivery networks using in‑person and virtual platforms. Responsibilities include advocacy, customer engagement, utilization of digital media, and generating pull‑through in hospital and payer environments while ensuring regulatory compliance and BIPI guidelines are met.
Duties & Responsibilities
Execute brand strategies to deliver company messaging effectively to customers.
Leverage cardiology, nephrology, diabetes knowledge and market insight to anticipate and manage business opportunities.
Maintain strong communication and cooperation with co‑promotion partners and company employees.
Collaborate with customer‑facing teams to satisfy market needs and achieve net sales objectives.
Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of BIPI CRM products and translate product expertise into compelling sales presentations.
Provide high‑level clinical and technical value to customers while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Encourage and respond to customer requests for technical information beyond standard visits.
Drive appropriate utilization of approved cardiovascular‑renal products.
Use BIPI sales training techniques to facilitate customer decision making.
Generate pull‑through volume with hospital and community health providers.
Develop and maintain cardio‑renal customer networks and communications.
Engage healthcare providers through both personal and digital channels as preferred by customers.
Integrate digital media and platforms into broader territory‑level business plans.
Deliver on the continuation‑of‑care model, supporting protocols, care transitions, and population health initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least three years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including one year of cardiovascular, diabetes, or nephrology promotion.
Hospital and/or account management experience preferred.
Successful performance history.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and database applications.
Willingness to travel, including overnight travel.
Will reside in the territory or be willing to relocate.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Authorization to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
For Executive Consultant I: at least five years of sales experience, with two years of cardiovascular/diabetes/nephrology promotion and at least one year of hospital/account management experience.
Eligibility Requirements
Legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Willing to take a drug test and post‑offer physical if required.
18 years of age or older.
