Sr Trade Compliance Analyst

In this role, you will impact Honeywell's ability to navigate international trade regulations, maintain compliance, and facilitate the seamless movement of goods across borders. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain regulatory toolsets.
Establish a robust operating system for key processes such as ACE administration and customs correspondence.
Manage broker rating systems, performance assessment, broker standard operating process and communications
Manage recordkeeping and import procedures
Manage, digitize and standardize the collection of import data and management tools across multiple strategic business groups.
Manage duty‑savings recovery, including duty‑drawback programs for the US
Support SAP, GTS, and other system deployments.
Participate in process improvement activities, with key focus on digital solutions
Conduct audits, training and oversight of all trade compliance activities.
Engage business units in thorough periodic self‑assessment processes and monitor corrective actions
Deliver training to small and large audiences
Work special projects as required
Ensuring import transactions are executed in compliance with all applicable international trade regulations
Serving as a Subject Matter Expert with respect to complex import compliance initiatives, including process improvements and digital transformation
Understanding and interpreting International Trade Regulations with an emphasis on US Customs Regulations
Refining and overseeing site‑based import programs to ensure proper application and execution of customs laws, processes, and procedures
Identifying opportunities for process improvement, with significant emphasis on solutions that align with Honeywell's digital transformation objectives
Providing guidance to Logistics, Finance, Customer Service, and other functions on compliance with international trade regulations
Ensuring effective management of customs brokers
Monitoring import data to identify potential compliance escapes and duty trends
Qualifications You Must Have
3 or more years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a multinational company
Strong knowledge of import regulations, including customs laws
Experience in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, and compliance audits
We Value
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) – Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft programs, Teams and SharePoint
Advanced degree in business, finance or information technology
Experience with developing/implementing/using digital solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft PowerApps, and Microsoft Flow
Strong knowledge of SAP and GTS
Strong working knowledge of Import Compliance fundamentals applicable to products and services; e.g., tariff schedule classification, valuation and country of origin determination
Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills; assertive, strong initiative and customer-focused with the ability to collaborate in a matrix‑oriented environment
Ability to conduct training and present information to groups or in a team environment
Teamwork and ability to work across all aspects of an organization
