Mega Security LTD is seeking and reliable CCTV, Access Control, and Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team in the Chicagoland area. This is a full-time field role ideal for a hands‑on professional with strong technical experience, solid communication skills, and a self‑motivated mindset. As a key player in a small, tight‑knit team, you'll install and service cutting‑edge security systems that protect homes and businesses across the region. Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and service Access Control Systems, Analog/IP CCTV systems, DVRs, NVRs, Intercoms, and Telephone Entry Systems. Travel to client locations throughout Chicagoland using a company‑provided vehicle. Troubleshoot system issues and resolve technical problems with efficiency. Provide on‑site customer training and support in a professional manner. Interface with manufacturer technical support to resolve system‑related issues. Accurately estimate jobs and prepare detailed invoices. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and professionalism on all work sites. Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in low voltage installation, intercoms, CCTV, and access control. Strong understanding of computer networks, IP addresses, routers, modems, and switches. Excellent communication skills and ability to build client relationships. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs, work on ladders, rooftops, and in outdoor environments. High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a valid PERC Card. Must pass a background check and drug screening (in compliance with applicable laws). Benefits
