Maintenance Technician (Tuesday-Saturday 9A-5:30P)
Position Summary
Responsible for assisting the Lead Maintenance Technician and Director of Plant Operations in maintaining all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, and equipment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, and equipment in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
Assist in the execution of preventative maintenance program.
Communicate with Director of Plant Operations for needed technical advice, product information, research and quality assurance guidance.
Advise Director of Plant Operations of the overall condition of the equipment and furnishings of the community.
Assist with Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Evacuation procedures.

Educational Requirements and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent and minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience required.
Must express or demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population.
Must have basic technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment and possess a basic knowledge of construction principles.
HVAC certification required.
