They are focused on revolutionising patients' access to healthcare with new solutions that facilitate diagnostics for anyone, anywhere. To fulfill their mission, they are focused on partnering with big pharmas and public healthcare systems worldwide. They are present in the B2C and B2B channels, and they aim to boost their B2B division in the coming years. They have received +15 awards, and they are in a phase of accelerated growth.
About the Role We are looking for a Business Development Executive (B2B - Pharma) to report directly to the CEO of the company. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing the entire Business Development and Sales cycles, and he/she will be expected to engage proactively with potential B2B clients, develop ad hoc proposals, and follow up on the closure of projects and contracts. The chosen candidate should bring a highly consultative approach to sales, and he/she should also be capable of untapping new opportunities across the entire market at a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
Map the market constantly in order to identify new, potential clients; conduct the first outreach via cold calling, cold emailing, and/or by attending to industry events; schedule discovery meetings to generate qualified leads; develop ad hoc proposals to win new business.
Approach Sales in a highly consultative manner, and conduct Business Development with an analytical and creative mindset (to uncover new, unexplored business opportunities).
Collaborate closely with the CEO and other teams such as Product and Marketing in order to achieve business goals.
Adhere to the agreed KPIs and metrics in order to track commercial efforts and results regularly.
Hit sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Key Requirements
Industry experience
– ca. 3-5 years of B2C/B2B sales experience within the Pharma & Life Sciences industry.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biology, Biotechnology, and/or Health Sciences.
Technical skills
– previous experience working with CRMs such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Zoho, and/or Active Campaign.
Soft skills
– excellent communication and negotiation skills; can-do attitude and team-player mindset; ability to work autonomously, with rigor and discipline; high motivation to hit business targets; passion for the healthtech sector, and for developing innovative commercial strategies; analytical and creative mind.
Language requirements
– fluent Spanish and English; other languages such as French or German will be a plus.
