Gas Supply Planning Analyst Join our team as a Gas Supply Planning Analyst, reporting to the Manager of Gas Supply Planning & Analytics. The role executes procurement and supply transactions, develops gas supply data models, and supports portfolio optimization, regulatory filings and internal analysis.
Responsibilities
Execute and manage daily, monthly, and seasonal gas supply procurement transactions.
Apply mathematical and analytical methods to assess commercial arrangements for pipeline, storage and peaking capacity procurement.
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, assess data quality, and communicate findings.
Maintain and update complex spreadsheet models.
Provide specialized analysis for internal and external data requests.
Develop customized reports using the gas management system.
Support portfolio optimization through spreadsheet analysis.
Provide analytical support for regulatory submissions (LROP, GCR) to the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission and Division of Public Utilities and Carriers.
Sponsor and support testimony and respond to discovery regarding submitted data analysis.
Monitor gas market dynamics and regulatory developments affecting supply planning and procurement objectives.
Comply with all company policies and standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in data analytics, econometrics, quantitative finance, mathematics, or another analytical discipline.
