Overview Oversee the scheduling and installation of Janus technology products (NSE, ACT, etc.) and systems across multiple markets. Responsible for the coordination and communication on all jobs they manage.
Responsibilities
Highly organized with time management skills and strong interpersonal skills; communicate with customers, installers, and Janus internal employees.
Manage install lead/crew supervisions and installers, ensuring installation of Janus materials according to specifications and understanding multiple product lines and installation methods.
Adherence to Janus International policies and procedures.
Ensure accuracy of plans and adherence during installation.
Identify and schedule qualified crews and installation leads; ensure timeliness and quality of projects.
Train and manage install leads and crews on all facets of technology installations (NEWC and R3 installs).
Responsible for technology installations that include (but are not limited to) Nok Smart Entry products, access control systems, gates and gate operators, camera systems, networks, and other low voltage or wireless systems as specified by customers/estimators.
Work in conjunction with the estimating team and Janus construction team to proactively correct project concerns.
Attend customers' pre‑bid and pre‑construction meetings as required.
Develop scope of work, including detailed measurements and assessment of requested work.
Develop and maintain schedules of work and forecasts for completing projects within allotted timeframes.
Research and implement products, processes, and services for continuous improvements in delivery of results.
Resolve minor violations and ordinances imposed by governmental organizations.
Process and approve invoices, draws, and other payments.
Provide emergency response as requested by Janus customers.
Enforce appropriate OSHA requirements and Janus safety policies & processes.
Qualifications
Highly proficient with technology, wireless (IoT) devices, and low voltage systems and products.
Experience with security systems, gate systems, network, and data installation management preferred.
5+ years of project management experience & multi‑unit management experience in construction/facilities.
Bachelor's degree in Construction/Business Management or related field preferred, or equivalent direct experience.
Experience in the development of scopes, budgets and schedules.
Possess a customer‑centric attitude and ability to collaborate.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project); able to learn new software as needed.
Must be highly mobile and willing to travel extensively as workload dictates.
Ability to manage a high volume of projects concurrently in a fast‑paced atmosphere.
Minimum OSHA 10 certification.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
Regularly required to walk around active construction sites and climb stairs in inclement weather.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
