Zurich North America is hiring an Executive Assistant II to join our Life, Accident, and Health team! We are open to hiring talent in our Zurich North American office in IL, NJ, or NY. In this role you will perform several basic administrative routines such as travel arrangements, calendar management, mail distribution, and responding to basic inquiries. The position typically operates without direct supervision, but a supervisor is available for non‑routine inquiries.
This is a hybrid work position. The selected candidate should be able to report into one of the following North American office locations: IL, NJ, or NY.
In This Role You Will Be Responsible For
Represent management and resolve issues on the executive’s behalf.
Interact with customers and associates in person, by phone, and by e‑mail efficiently, promptly, and accurately. Provide regular updates to executive, stakeholders, customers, and office staff as required.
Compose routine correspondence, memos, expense reports, and newsletters.
Maintain current, accurate, and easily accessible files and department data.
Prepare presentation materials and assist executive with presentation arrangements.
Develop worksheets, prepare correspondence, and create presentations using computer technology.
Administer programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the operating unit served.
Organize meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and arranging catering when necessary.
Perform minor accounting duties such as processing payments.
Welcome visitors and identify the purpose of visit before directing them to the appropriate department.
Provide administrative assistance such as writing and editing e‑mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on management’s behalf.
Interact with vendors in person, on the phone, or in e‑mail.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the administrative area.
OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an associate degree and 3 or more years of experience required in the administrative area.
AND experience planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of company operations, organizational procedures.
Administrative experience in a multi‑tasked, high‑paced, confidential environment.
Ability to prioritize.
Ability to multi‑task.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation The proposed hourly rate for this position is $31.68 – $51.87, with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5%. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location.
