Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr.
Job Overview As a Convention Services Manager, you will coordinate and execute group events from planning through completion, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. You’ll serve as the primary liaison between clients and hotel departments, managing all logistics to ensure flawless meetings, conferences, and conventions. This role requires strong communication, organization, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Build excellent relationships with clients and hotel associates to ensure seamless transition of all hotel events from sales to service and back to sales.
Create BEOs and group resumes, communicate client expectations to the hotel team, and maximize revenue opportunities through upselling and offering enhancements.
Collaborate with the Director of Sales (Director of Catering/CS) and other departments to deliver outstanding events.
Gain exposure to all aspects of hotel operations and position yourself for a progressive career in catering, group sales, food and beverage, or hotel operations.
Education & Experience
A college degree or two years of hotel experience.
Previous experience in a similar or related position.
Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications.
