Join an established group with experienced providers in General, Hand, Trauma, and Sports Medicine. Valley Baptist Medical Center is a highly regarded 586‑bed acute care hospital with a stellar reputation for service and quality. Highlights
Office located in MOB is connected to Valley Baptist Hospital, walking distance to Hosp OR
2‑3 days in clinic and OR block times, able to adjust as needed
Clinic Hours M‑F 8a‑5p
70/30% IP/OP
Approx. 3‑5 call days/month (includes General Ortho Call)
Practice includes Ortho Trauma provider that provides coverage @ VBMC
Dedicated Ortho/Trauma floor
Candidate Requirements
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training or extensive experience in Hip & Joint
Replacement preferred
Trauma Certification is a plus

Cardiology Resources: Four Cath Lab Suites with cardiac, EP, and neuro capabilities.
Advanced Technology: Recently added an additional da Vinci surgical robot, Brainlab computer navigation system, AIRO mobile intraoperative CT, and Cirq robotic surgical arm—the first to bring minimally invasive robotic spine surgery to the Rio Grande Valley.
