Individuals in this position will complete a comprehensive training program to prepare for a role on our management team.
Responsibilities
Recruit, select, and orient store staff.
Meet sales goals and performance criteria through training, motivation, mentoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Schedule employees, assign tasks, and follow up on work results to meet operational requirements.
Achieve financial objectives by monitoring controllable expenses such as labor, cost of sales, and other costs.
Maintain store stability and reputation by complying with all legal requirements.
Ensure stores are clean, adequately stocked, organized, well‑kept, and customer ready.
Establish rapport with customers, building loyalty and long‑term relationships.
Create a positive, motivating, team‑based environment.
Investigate and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Analyze daily sales and expense information to maximize sales and net profits.
Safeguard and account for all money received, and be responsible for banking requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience in a retail/customer service environment.
1 year supervisory experience.
Ability to effectively influence others.
Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods (7+ hours per day).
Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
