What You Will Do In this vital role you will be the primary liaison to our customers, delivering clinical knowledge of our products to medical professionals. As a senior specialty representative you will implement marketing strategy, promote Amgen products, and be the first point of contact for our customers. You will work closely with the District Manager and collaborate with other stakeholders to achieve territory sales targets.
Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen’s products and effectively communicate the clinical and economic benefits of the products to medical professionals.
Serve as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by implementing and delivering branded sales messages and programmes, including scheduling and following up with medical educational programmes and exceeding sales targets.
Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory performance and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
Maintain a passion for our products throughout the entire sales cycle while building brand awareness and consistently serving patients.
Partner with colleagues to share best practices, fostering continuous curiosity and learning to grow as a senior specialty representative.
Leverage disease‑state awareness, industry, regulatory and competitive changes to deliver agreed results.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of sales experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience.
Associate Degree and 6 years of sales experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience.
High school diploma or GED and 8 years of sales experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years of sales experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry product or hospital sales experience.
Experience in rheumatology, inflammation, and related specialties.
Hunter sales experience outside pharma.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.

The expected annual salary range for
Senior Specialty Representative
in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $120,541.00 to $147,327.00. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
