To be qualified for the Lead Teacher opportunity, we require a high school diploma and the ability to pass all background checks. We also require an associate's or a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a completed associate's or bachelor's degree with at least 12 credits of early childhood education or their equivalent.

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:45am-5:45pm OR 9:00am - 6:00pm

Compensation: $18-$21 per hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities For Lead Teachers

Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.

Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently.

Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.

Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.

Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.

Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, and climbing stairs.

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.

Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
