JOB SUMMARY:

Supports the system management/technical support and conformance for Team Member safety and health, and environmental stewardship for Universal Kids Resort. Assists with coordination of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives by fostering the implementation of the EHS Management System, EHS Standards, and associated processes. Supports EHS team with routine administrative tasks, support, data entry, record maintenance, routine audits and training support, logistics and scheduling, and organization of materials and supplies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages EHS document management systems by updating, maintaining and validating accuracy of documents to include hard copy files, long term file storage, digital records while validating document retention protocol adherence related to active, archive and destruction schedules. Administers application access, permission levels, and consistent use of Intelex at UKR following Universal standards and procedures.

Coordinates EHS Training matters related to space booking, session planning, ongoing maintenance, and annual training tracking and audits. Coordinates third party vendor training programs and facilitation needs. Maintains master training calendars and associated resource/facilitator scheduling, communicates available learning opportunities and class availability to business partners, responds timely to business partner requests for courses and enrolling/dropping training.

Processes and/or generates regulatory reporting forms and records, safety glass/shoe requests, DOT Driver Qualification records, waste management, work permits, SDSs, medical surveillance letters, inspection form assignment and form updates, and other similarly assigned tasks.

Assists with verifying and updating documents for completion findings closure of EHS Management. Assists with developing scope of work while coordinating across UKR Sourcing and Legal teams on contracts and bidding processes. Processes invoices and requisitions timely as necessary.

Conforms to internal EHS processes, procedures, and the EHS Code of Professionalism. Consistently and accurately, document incidents, actions, and nonconformities using the prescribed EHS Applications and processes.

Assists with documenting assigned inspections to identify conformance gaps caused by a breakdown in the EHS Management System. Actively responds to and participates in the EHS on-call, audit and other EHS process as assigned, continually identify hazards, make observations and stop work when there is imminent danger.

Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.

Must be self-starter with a basic working knowledge of applicable EHS regulations

Must have a high level of integrity.

Strong computer skills with Microsoft office, presentation development, and delivery.

Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize multiple projects and workload. High level of flexibility.

Possess strong communication skills.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

2+ years of administrative support, training, or systems management is required, experience with health, safety, or environmental impacts is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
