As a Customer Service Associate, you combine top‑notch customer service skills with genuine care for people to help customers feel comfortable while shopping at Lowe’s. This role engages customers and helps them solve their home‑improvement challenges.
Your Impact at Lowe’s As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers to Lowe’s and help them find the right products and services for their home‑improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, help them find and select products, occasionally load merchandise, and ensure all customer needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly customer service.
Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
Down‑stock merchandise by replacing empty shelves.
Process orders and deliveries accurately.
Cross‑train in other store areas.
Prepare merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint & mix paint, cut and bundle wood).
Guide customers through the shopping or checkout process.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
Ability to stand, sit, and perform job duties for extended periods.
Minimum lift of 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
6 months retail or customer service experience.
Bi‑lingual skills.
Certification in a trade related to the department (hardware, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
Additional Information Lowe’s strongly encourages bilingual, military, and veteran talent to apply.
This role does not require regular travel; occasional travel may be required for meetings or training.
Environmental factors vary by location; exposure to varying weather conditions and noise may occur. Limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Powered equipment should be used with proper training.
