Job Responsibilities
Plans for each days machining by studying blueprints, engineering plans, and materials. Analyzes information and finds the best solutions to problems. Programs CNC mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points. Must be capable of reading and editing G-Code. Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations. Adhering to safety procedures and regulations to ensure safe operations. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions in our internal electronic system. Confers with engineers, production, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems. Qualifications and Skills
Ability to operate and program CNC mills or lathe Proficient computer and technical skills Self-starter Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Experience operating CNC mills and lathes in a production environment
