Position Summary The Restoration Consultant (RC) is a field‑based sales professional responsible for generating self‑sourced leads, securing signed contracts, and managing customer relationships throughout the insurance restoration and retail sales process. Restoration Consultants serve as the primary point of contact for customers from inspection through production handoff. This role is ideal for motivated, coachable individuals who want uncapped earning potential and long‑term growth in a performance‑driven environment.

Residential and commercial sales opportunities
Key Responsibilities
Generate self‑sourced leads through door‑to‑door prospecting and approved networking
Schedule and conduct customer inspections in a professional and timely manner
Identify qualifying damage and secure signed contracts
Assist customers with initiating and navigating the insurance claim process
Meet with insurance adjusters and support accurate scope development
Manage customer communication and expectations throughout the process
Coordinate product selection meetings and upgrades
Maintain accurate and complete job documentation
Work collaboratively with Sales Management, Production, and internal departments
Represent Built Strong Exteriors with professionalism, safety, and integrity
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment
Coachable mindset and willingness to follow proven sales processes
High level of organization, professionalism, and accountability
Sales experience is helpful, but not required – training is provided
Construction, restoration, roofing, or insurance‑related experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
Uncapped commission structure
Sales draw during initial ramp‑up period
Tiered commission rates based on performance
Performance‑based eligibility for vehicle stipend and schedule flexibility
Healthcare benefits eligibility after applicable waiting period
Clear advancement opportunities into leadership roles
Work Environment & Expectations Field‑based sales role with significant time spent prospecting and meeting customers. Evening and Saturday availability as business needs require. Seasonal flexibility, including optional travel opportunities during off‑peak weather. Exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (not eligible for overtime).
