Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant opportunity in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts a member of Trinity Health Of New England, the regions largest nonprofit health system seeks an experienced Certified Physician Assistant to join our orthopedic surgery team.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a cohesive surgery team of surgical Physician Assistants who work under the direction and supervision of orthopedic surgeons. This position is ideal for a self-motivated and experienced PA who wants to maximize their skill set. Candidates with 2-3 years proven experience in an orthopedic surgical setting are preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
This role includes:
Weekday coverage. No nights or weekends. ER/Trauma coverage is divided equally between the team members.
OR first assist of orthopedic patients both elective and trauma.
ER and hospital coverage of elective and trauma patients as well as outpatient follow up for trauma patients.
Daytime on call responsibility during non-business hours on a 1:10 rotation
Practicing in the Springfield, Massachusetts metro area puts you in the heart of New England.
