Swing Shift (Alternating Weekly: 7 AM - 3 PM / 3 PM - 11 PM) or 3rd Shift (11 PM - 7 AM) Job Summary:
We are seeking a
highly skilled Injection Molding Process Technician
to oversee
mold installation, troubleshooting, and process optimization
in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for
ensuring quality production, process efficiency, and equipment safety , contributing to
new mold inspections, installations, and plant productivity initiatives . Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe working environment
by following
all safety protocols and procedures . Install, inspect, and set up
new molds
to support production efficiency. Perform
mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
to maintain
optimal injection molding processes . Utilize
five key processing parameters
to ensure quality product output. Collaborate with
engineering teams
to develop
new process improvements . Provide
technical support
and guidance to
shift process technicians . Analyze
quality system data
to ensure compliance with
production standards . Maintain
accurate process documentation
and ensure
clear communication across teams . Participate in
safety audits
and
continuous improvement initiatives . Required Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in plastics injection molding . Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills . Experience with plastic injection molding setup and new mold installation . Basic PC literacy and working knowledge of IQMS system . Must pass
Work Keys Mathematics & Technical Aptitude Testing . Preferred Qualifications:
