A Snapshot of Your Day A local Wind Service Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of wind turbines, ensuring the wind farm produces reliable power. The wind farm is located in Baird, TX. Duties include routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, climbing towers for inspections, and supporting overall safety and efficiency by following safety protocols, maintaining records, and assisting with additional tasks as needed.

Drive the Safety Culture on site: Set the standard for safety and ensure that others working around you are being safe and working in the correct way.
Drive quality in each turbine: Perform high‑quality maintenance with your team and support continuous improvements to cleanliness and operation.
Drive continuous process improvements: Provide suggestions and ideas to leadership on site to improve current processes and deliver positive change.
Improve cost impacts for the organization: Reduce costs by performing high‑quality maintenance and enhancing turbine efficiency.
What You Bring
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Must maintain a valid license and acceptable driving record; may be subject to periodic DMV checks.
Minimum two years of wind experience with a High School Diploma or GED; 3+ years with an associate’s or trade school degree/certification.
Proficiency in Microsoft software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to climb to heights up to 250 feet, work in confined spaces, and meet the body weight restriction of 265 pounds or less.
Must pass a physical administered by a medical practitioner to ensure ability to safely perform the job functions.
Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States and will not require employer‑sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
About The Team The team is a small group of close technicians. Many have been on site since the beginning of the contract, and others joined later, but all take pride in their work and hold the standard daily. As a technician, you’ll work alongside supporting staff such as the Short‑Term Operations planner and the Technical Project Specialist.
