Mixer Operator
We are seeking engaged, driven individuals with an active CDL license to join our team of Mixer Operators at SRM Concrete. The primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality concrete products. This involves safely operating and maintaining concrete mixer trucks, loading and mixing concrete according to precise specifications, and delivering the product to various construction sites with exceptional customer service. The role demands a strong commitment to safety, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to transport and deliver concrete products.
Load and mix concrete ingredients by following specific job orders and company protocols.
Ensure timely delivery of concrete to construction sites, maintaining courteous and professional interaction with customers and the public.
Conduct pre‑and post‑operation checks on the mixer truck to ensure proper functioning and report maintenance or repair needs.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure safety of all team members and the public.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and other relevant documentation as required.
Work closely with the dispatch team to ensure efficient scheduling and routing of deliveries.
Assist in other duties as assigned, including general maintenance tasks or supporting other team members in production.
Qualifications
Valid CDL Class A or B license.
Current DOT Medical Card.
Proven safe driving record.
Physically able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in varying weather conditions.
No unexplained gaps in employment history.
Strong teamwork, reliability, and adaptability.
Previous experience as a Mixer Operator or similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre‑employment screenings.
