IT Technician – 1st Shift
Bosch Home Comfort USA , Lincolnton, NC – Full‑time
Responsibilities
Maintain and support IT infrastructure and MAE software systems.
Collect, review, and update inventory data for IT infrastructure and machinery software.
Initiate, organize, coordinate, and log remote shopfloor access (RSA).
Execute and verify data backups of IT systems (e.g., PLC programs).
Annual validation of the respective IT emergency plan.
Apply for IP addresses, network zones, and infrastructure services.
Implement update and IT security measures defined by CERT, OT, VPR, or OT-Planner.
Document wired and wireless networks used directly by machinery and equipment.
Install and configure IT devices (excluding facilities installation).
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for non‑Bosch IT devices.
Execute Layer Process Audit (LPA) for process confirmation of local IT security concept, including virus scan for non‑Bosch IT devices.
Qualifications
High school diploma and technical/vocational schooling required.
Intermediate knowledge of IT devices and information technology.
Entry‑level understanding of networking concepts.
Senior experience working with control cabinets and electrical safety.
Intermediate familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux).
Intermediate knowledge of PLC programming.
Entry proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
