**Medical Assistant Lead** will perform clinical and administrative duties under the administrator's direction and support the team, other leads, and providers.Oversee medical assistants in their duties and ensure that competencies and proficiencies are completed.Exercise problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills when handling patients.Provide assignments (side work) for medical assistants and ensure it is being completed.Oversee all medical assistants' and providers' PAQ, tasks, schedules, and portal messages.Exercise problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills when handling patients.Maintain strict patient confidentiality and privacy following office policies and procedures and HIPAA privacy and security requirements, and exercise utmost discretion in patient and staff interactions.Please notecontainrequired of the employee for this job. Ability to type 40 words per minute. As part of your position's requirements, you are expected to travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region.**Knowledge, Competencies & Skills:** Excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in triaging patients, phlebotomy, administering injections, obtaining vitals, and processing specimens.Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, and CPT -4 Codes. skills, both verbal Proficient computer software and database skills.
