Position Overview Sales Associate - San Juan Capistrano Resale Store Hours:
Evenings and Weekends
Location:
31878 Del Obispo Suite 104, SJC CA 92675
As a Sales Associate, you'll deliver top-notch customer care, process donations, and keep our store welcoming and organized-all while championing the work of Laura's House.
What You'll Do
Be a warm, mission-aware welcome: Greet walk-ins, share information about Laura's House, and ensure every visitor feels valued.
Manage the register with ease: Open and close the cash drawer, operate the POS system accurately, and balance transactions at shift's end.
Curate and support: Tag, organize, and display merchandise and donations with care and respect.
Keep the store inviting: Help with cleaning-dusting, sweeping, and tidying both inside and outside the store.
Stay responsive: Answer calls, assist customers, donors, and volunteers with schedule intake or information.
Maintain order & safety: Keep displays tidy, uphold a secure environment.
Always uphold confidentiality and professionalism with employees and customers.
Team engagement: Support your Store Manager by taking on additional tasks assigned.

You bring exceptional customer service, with an ability to empathize and connect.
You're comfortable with cash handling and can make accurate change.
You're a multitasker who easily shifts from register to restock to tidying.
You're adept at running a cash register.
You're able to cooperate and work well with others.
You have strong customer service skills.
Some additional requirements
Requires long hours of standing, sometimes in one spot.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to bend and/or reach to stock shelves and hang clothes
Must pass a drug test and Live Scan
