Fabrication Operator - Binghamton, NY
Join Atkore as a Fabrication Operator. Reporting to the Fabrication Manager, you will bend standard sizes and radii of elbows/sweeps, package finished product, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Responsibilities
Complete QA and Work Order paperwork correctly and accurately.
Produce quality welds and repair couplings that meet or exceed QA specifications.
Test and measure product to ensure conformance with required specifications.
Change out bell pins and strip plates.
Produce straight cuts on both the table saw and chop saw.
Accurately record scrap product.
Perform maintenance and cleanup for production and storage areas.
Follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel‑toed shoes, gloves, and Hi‑Vis clothing).
Execute all other assigned duties.
Qualifications
1–2 years of related experience preferred.
Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced work environment.
Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Positive team player who helps elevate others.
