Specialized Operations Associate
to support daily operations of the General Office and the Jewelry Department under the Assistant General Manager, Operations.
Responsibilities
Open the store: secure safe, controller, registers, and distribute reports.
Maintain daily financial functions: morning cash entry, bank deposits, chargeback reconciliation, register and petty cash counting.
Resolve customer internal and external issues, including bill research/ payment and package tracking.
Follow jewelry standards and shipping guidelines: receive, verify, book, and book back jewelry, process re‑tickets, RTVs, transfers, ASN shipments, and price changes.
Retrieve and process merchandise for returns/transfers to vendors and maintain case‑count system, reconciling discrepancies.
Maintain repair log, track repairs sent to vendors or local shops, and submit repair invoices.
Receive and verify merchandise for trunk shows; assist in set‑up, take‑down, and recap results.
Prepare and submit special order requests and statements of sale.
Communicate with corporate merchants, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, and vendors as needed.
Ensure audit readiness: monitor vault/safe contents and adhere to Internal Audit standards.
Assist managers and associates on the selling floor and process fulfillment orders.
Perform ad hoc responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
Ability to lift cartons up to 15 lbs, climb ladders, and handle racks and carts of merchandise.
Strong computer skills (Google, MS Office, adaptability to new technology).
Work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment with high multi‑tasking and minimal supervision.
Flexible schedule to meet business needs and adherence to dependability standards.
Attention to detail and orderly workspace.
Apply store policies and procedures for decision‑making.
Effective verbal and written communication; professional handling of telephone and face‑to‑face interactions.
Maintain confidentiality when handling issues.
