Key Responsibilities
Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on equipment.
Demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities on control systems, pumps, motors, HMIs, and PLCs on complex process and packaging equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks as necessary, routinely in cases requiring advanced technical expertise.
Assist operators for adjustments, setups, and change overs.
Participate in mandatory training sessions.
Keep the area, tools and equipment in your care clean and tidy.
Review documentation for maintenance activity using the maintenance database, communicate maintenance issues to appropriate employees, and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.
About You
Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience, required.
Food manufacturing experience, preferred.
Vocational school, industrial maintenance degree, technical college training, or satisfactory completion of an apprentice program, preferred.
Ability to read and understand manuals, line diagrams and schematics, required.
Ability to identify and analyze a situation and make frequent technical decisions based on specifications, required.
High degree of precision working with minimum tolerances, required.
High degree of attention and care preventing injury to others with responsibility for the flow of electrical power.
Exposed to voltages up to 480 V.
Good organization, math, written and oral communication, detail oriented, interpersonal skills.
Self‑motivated, works autonomously with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in areas with temperatures of 100 °F–120 °F.
