The Rental Manager is responsible for both sales and operations of the rental product line, providing front‑line contact with prospects, managing a large fleet of vehicles, matching vehicle availability with customer demand, and coordinating all aspects of customers’ accounts.

Responsibilities
Work with the General Manager and Service Manager to determine proper specifications on rental assets for specific markets.
Monitor conditions of the rental fleet to ensure all units are damage‑free.
Prospect for new customers via cold calling, telephone solicitation, mailers, or other methods to grow the business.
Ensure customer files have valid insurance certificates.
Manage fuel‑tax reporting and driver trip‑record processes.
Maintain relationships with existing customers through personal visits, phone contacts, and annual reviews.
Drive growth, profit, and positive gross margin for the Rental Department.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
At least 3 years of experience in commercial fleet management or commercial vehicle leasing, or equivalent education and/or experience.
Current, valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets the company’s insurance carrier insurability guidelines.
