The Bank Customer Identification Program (CIP) Specialist plays a key role in the bank’s operations by ensuring customer identification requirements are met in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies. This position is responsible for reviewing documentation, verifying identities, and maintaining accurate records to support efficient and compliant onboarding processes. What We're Looking For
Review customer documentation for completeness and accuracy of identifying information. Verify customer identities using established documentary and non-documentary methods. Escalate discrepancies or missing information to senior team members for resolution. Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in compliance with retention requirements. Stay informed on CIP policies and procedures and participate in training sessions. What You'll Bring
Client-focused approach with strong attention to detail. Ability to learn compliance requirements and adapt to changing regulations. Strong organizational skills and accuracy in data entry. Effective communication skills for working with internal teams. Ability to learn bank systems and compliance tools quickly. Education & Experience
Minimum Required: High School degree or equivalent. Preferred: 1+ years in banking, finance, or a compliance-related field. Licenses & Credentials
Minimum Required: None. Systems & Technology
