About this role
MATTE is seeking an experienced Post Production Supervisor to oversee all post‑production workflows across campaigns, content, and experiential projects. This role is both creative and operational, responsible for ensuring high‑quality delivery while managing timelines, budgets, teams, and technical workflows. The Post Production Supervisor serves as the central point of accountability for post‑production from edit through final delivery, working closely with Creative, Production, Client Services, and external vendors to ensure projects are executed efficiently and at the highest standard.
Post Production Leadership
Oversee all post‑production processes across multiple projects, including editorial, motion, color, sound, VFX, finishing, and delivery
Serve as the primary post‑production lead for internal teams, clients, and external vendors
Partner with Creative Directors to ensure creative intent is carried through post
Workflow & Project Management
Build and manage post schedules, milestones, and delivery timelines across simultaneous projects
Track post‑production budgets, scopes, and change orders in collaboration with Production and Client Services
Anticipate risks and proactively problem‑solve schedule, scope, or resource challenges
Team & Vendor Management
Manage editors, assistant editors, motion designers, and post‑production freelancers
Source, onboard, and manage external post vendors (edit houses, color, sound, VFX)
Provide clear direction, feedback, and quality control throughout the post process
Technical Oversight
Ensure proper post workflows, file management, versioning, and delivery specs across platforms
Oversee conform, color pipeline, sound mix, and final mastering
Maintain standards for naming conventions, archive protocols, and handoffs
Client & Internal Collaboration
Participate in client reviews, feedback sessions, and approvals related to post
Translate client feedback into actionable creative and technical direction
Work closely with Client Services and Project Management to align expectations and delivery
Qualifications & Requirements
5-7+ years of post‑production experience, ideally within a creative agency, production company, or post house
Strong understanding of post workflows across editorial, motion, sound, color, and finishing
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams
Fluent in industry tools and workflows (Avid, Premiere, After Effects, Frame.io, etc.)
Strong communication skills and comfort interfacing with senior creatives and clients
Detail‑oriented, organized, and calm under pressure
Compensation $85,000-100,000/year based on experience
