Job Title The
Contract Manager
is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing contracts supporting Development Sciences and Translational Medicine. This role ensures efficient external collaborations while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, analyze, and negotiate a wide range of contracts in a compliant manner.
Negotiate favorable contract terms while balancing business needs and risk tolerance.
Exercise independent judgment during negotiations with minimal legal oversight.
Advise stakeholders on contractual, business, and risk considerations.
Partner cross-functionally to improve contract processes, templates, and playbooks.
Maintain accurate contract records and support audit requests.
Provide guidance or training to team members as needed and support special projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
