The FRM will be responsible for the management of defined accounts in a specified geographic region within the cardiometabolic/rare disease therapeutic area, specifically supporting the Customer’s assigned Product. The FRM is responsible for advancing product access and reimbursement for patients through approved education and support services. This may include educational in‑service, patient pull‑through support activities, and support of denied claims. The FRM will execute the collaborative territory strategic plan through partnership with internal and external stakeholders, which may include call center services (HUB), specialty pharmacy (SP), sales, market access, payers, and other collaboration partners in line with approved rules of engagement business rules.
Key Responsibilities
Advancing product access and reimbursement for patients through approved education and support services. This may include educational in‑service, patient pull‑through support activities, and support of denied claims.
Supporting appropriate patient access and reimbursement education to HCPs, HCP Office Staff, and approved matrix partners in Hub/SP program, patient support team by using approved messaging, tools, and patient support services and financial assistance programs, etc.
Provide information to HCPs, Office staff, and approved matrix partners on how the product is covered under the pharmacy or medical benefit design.
Where appropriate, FRMs will coordinate with the Hub/SP/Approved Partner concerning individual patient cases including patient access, coverage assistance, enrollment, etc.
Analyze reimbursement and access issues and act as the local access and reimbursement resource for field sales and regional management as permitted by policy.
Operate within approved rules of engagement, privacy, and compliance business rules.
Qualifications
7+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience.
3+ years of experience in patient journey navigation, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy & distribution, or patient support services.
Preferred Experience includes cardiometabolic/rare disease therapeutic area or complex scientific product experience and launch.
Ability to solve access issues related to both specialty pharmacy and medical benefit products.
Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.
