About Indiana Sports Corp Indiana Sports Corp, a not-for-profit organization, was founded in 1979 as the nation’s first sports commission. For more than 40 years, Indiana Sports Corp has been a leading civic organization advancing our community through sports. Ithas played host to more than 500 national and international sporting events, generating over $4 billion in direct spending for the community. Indiana Sports Corp has helped elevate the city of Indianapolis from a place of obscurity to the city “Where Champions are Crowned” and positively impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of our citizens, especially youth.
Your Role as a Promotional Student We’re seeking outgoing, enthusiastic undergraduate and graduate students to serve as the face of Indiana Sports Corp in the community. As a Promotional Student, you’ll represent our organization at local events and help connect the public with some of the most exciting sports experiences in the country.

NCAA DIII Swimming and Diving
Final Four Week Ancillary Events
Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament
And many more!
Responsibilities Promotional Students will serve from
February 2nd through May 1st, 2026 , committing to at least
15 events . Key responsibilities include:
Representing Indiana Sports Corp at parades, festivals, community events, and farmers markets
Driving and operating a company vehicle
Engaging with the public and confidently speaking to strangers about our mission
Setting up and tearing down promotional booths and activations
Taking on-site photos for social media content
Managing and tracking promotional inventory
Supporting volunteers and ensuring tasks are executed effectively
Collect accurate data from our fans
Requirements & Expectations
At least 21 years of age by August 2025
Available Thursdays through Sundays for evening and weekend events
Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging with community members and families
Able to stand for extended periods, with some light walking and occasional sitting
Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds (e.g., tables, signage, promotional items)
Able to pass a background check and driver screening
Safely operate a company vehicle for short- and long-distances
Enthusiastic, extroverted, and ready to lead from the front
Experienced in youth programming or family engagement (preferred but not required)
