Job Summary The Admissions team seeks enthusiastic and dedicated students with a strong commitment to the University. Ideal candidates will have a passion for sharing their campus experience and expertise with prospective students, families and other guests visiting Newman University.
Responsibilities
Guide campus tours for prospective students and families, in person.
Guide campus tours for various other guests, including new staff & faculty.
Assist Admissions Counselors in school visits from high schools, middle schools and elementary schools.
Participate in event days and student panels, sharing your Newman experience (typically 2–3 Saturday events in Fall and Spring).
Work 5 to 20 hours each week.
Complete University‑required trainings.
Qualifications
Be a full‑time Newman University student enrolled in 12 or more credit hours per semester (first‑year students welcome).
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
High degree of commitment and reliability.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexibility and adaptability for varied visit experiences and guests.
Passionate about Newman University.
Respect for confidentiality and professionalism at all times, especially when guests are present.
Work Schedule Monday‑Friday with variable times; potential weekend and evening shifts as recruitment events are scheduled.
Pay $8.25 per hour.
