What You’ll Do
Greet customers with a smile and answer their questions.
Lead and oversee the daily operations of the produce department.
Delegate responsibilities and supervise produce operations.
Train staff in store policies, procedures, and customer service techniques.
Evaluate performance, provide feedback, and ensure standards are met.
Establish and achieve business and profit objectives for the produce department.
Maintain inventory levels by ordering stock to meet customer demand.
Analyze sales figures to oversee financial performance.
Develop new concepts to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, tidy produce department, ensuring signage and displays are attractive.
Coordinate with other departments for smooth store operations.
Resolve conflicts or complaints from customers and employees within the produce department.
Perform other duties to ensure overall success.
