MediaLink seeks a Coordinator to join our team in New York or Los Angeles as part of our Consultancy function. In this exciting new role you will join over 125 renowned subject matter experts who bring unparalleled operational experience and foresight to the media and marketing industry’s most trusted advisory group. You will play a pivotal role in the management and success of our client engagements, assist with market research, and contribute your perspective on how our clients learn, grow and transform in their respective sectors of media, entertainment, marketing and technology.

Coordinators are most often staffed across multiple clients or engagements, supporting 1‑2+ Principals as they advise clients, develop strategic insights and implement key recommendations. A successful candidate will have detail‑oriented organizational skills, the ability to proactively function under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced working environment, and be energized by the variety of assignments and inter‑connectivity of the industry.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities Project Management

Drive day‑to‑day project management (primarily internal) across several client engagements or workstreams.

Own scheduling and calendar invites, meeting agendas, and notetaking.

Create and maintain engagement trackers and timelines.

Action follow‑ups for timetable of tasks to reach scope of work objectives.

Monitor weekly to‑do’s and take proactive measures to set the team and engagement up for success.

Develop meeting briefs to ensure the internal client team as well as the client are properly briefed ahead of meetings to drive optimal outcome.

Assist with email tee‑ups including coordinating/tracking requests and drafting correspondences.

Support tentpole outreach process and meeting management for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.

Research and Analysis

Gather research from a wide range of sources and distill key findings to assist in the identification of client problems and the development of client‑specific solutions.

Support stakeholder and diligence efforts by transcribing interviews to connect concepts and opportunities into clear takeaways and recommendations.

Conduct market and company analyses, strategic diligence, and competitive benchmarking on key business issues in marketing, media, advertising, and technology.

Support the creation and development of client deliverables based on guidance of engagement lead.

Communication & Collaboration

Communicate effectively across the project team to ensure internal and external messaging is aligned.

Ensure proper and timely escalation of project risk or potential for missed delivery deadlines.

Work with internal teams to integrate learnings and best practices from related projects.

Play an active role in proposals, thought leadership efforts, and other market and business development activities.

Your Experience

1+ year of related work experience in consulting, media, marketing, advertising and/or technology.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Proven analytical skills, experience with qualitative and quantitative research.

Knowledge and understanding of media/advertising/technology industry terms and trends.

Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills.

Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize.

Organized with a strong attention to detail.

Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member to deliver objectives.
