Job Summary/Basic Function To carry out assigned activities, operations and programs within the police department including routine foot-patrol, traffic control, and crime prevention. Primary and principle duties also consist of the prevention and detection of crime and the enforcement of criminal statutes or ordinances of the state or any of its political subdivisions.
