EPIC App Coordinator – Ambulatory
Piedmont Healthcare invites the EPIC App Coordinator to collaborate on clinical and revenue cycle application support.

Responsibilities
Design, build, test, validate, and support clinical and/or revenue‑cycle applications.
Obtain and maintain appropriate Epic certification; acquire in‑depth knowledge of software functionality and clinical/revenue‑cycle workflows.
Provide tier III on‑call support on a 24/7 basis for Epic clinical/revenue‑cycle applications.
Implement configuration changes to the Epic system approved by the appropriate committee.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary workgroups to design future‑state workflows and build the system to support them.
Establish and maintain critical business relationships with colleagues, physicians and all users of the Epic application suite.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or current clinical license in nursing, radiology, pharmacy, respiratory, or related field.
4+ years of experience in business administration, IT, science, healthcare or related field, or
3 years of healthcare or IT experience including one year of EMR application experience.
Minimum 7 years of related experience if not meeting degree requirement.
1 year working directly with Epic applications in a clinical or IS field (preferred).
Current Epic certification or active Epic proficiency with a score of 90 (required).
Employment Mid‑Senior Level, Full‑time, Hospital & Health Care.
Salary: $89,000.00 – $127,000.00 (Atlanta, GA).
