Job Summary: Disney Central is currently looking for Latin America Consumer Direct (LACD) Specialists, bilingual English speakers with fluency in Portuguese! They focus on creating magical vacation planning experiences using extraordinary Guest service skills and strong attention to detail, as well as assisting Guests in Portuguese language in completing their vacation planning. Our specialists will be required to address the needs of our Guests by establishing a positive rapport with emphasis on sales and service.

This is an hourly position in an inbound contact center located at Disney Central in Orlando, Florida. The specialist will attend a paid training class where you will participate in multiple performance assessments.

The current operating hours are Sunday through Saturday, 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.

The starting pay rate for this position is $20.10 per hour.

Responsibilities: In this position, the specialists meet or exceed Disney’s quality and guest service standards. They will assist with our Latin America Consumer Direct channel and Walt Disney World® Resort Room, Dine & Recreation bookings and Ticket products. This team also supports our Internet Help Desk services and assists our guests concerning their website experience through troubleshooting and procedural means. In addition, this team will assist Guests who have already booked a resort reservation by providing services such as taking payments, making reservation modifications, recommending booking additional vacation experiences and other projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Bilingual in both English and Portuguese verbal and written communication skills, as well as telephone etiquette skills

Sales and Service experience in a customer service or contact center environment

Flexible with work schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays

Strong interpersonal, listening, and oral communication skills

Eagerness to learn new policies, procedures, product lines and new software applications

Ability to be flexible and react to new situations and information quickly

Problem solving and decision‑making skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook

Solid understanding of Walt Disney World products and services

Ability to interact with other Walt Disney World departments

Strong organizational and time‑management skills

Computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems, as well as familiarity with mobile applications

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of sales or service experience in a call center environment

Previous experience with Walt Disney World® system

Knowledge of Disney business practices, applications and Disney websites

Familiar with international vacation planning practices

Ability to work in a structured environment
