Senior Sous Chef – Capital One Lounge, IAD

Job Summary
The Senior Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in managing the Culinary Department, supervising kitchen associates, developing menu items, controlling costs, and executing catering events. This role requires a dynamic, entrepreneurial culinary professional with high-volume foodservice experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef with cost control and budget management. Help plan, create, and develop daily menu items. Supervise hourly kitchen associates and support menu development. Produce and execute catering events and new culinary programs.
Preferred Qualifications
A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts or culinary certificate and required experience. Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience. Catering experience and high-volume, complex foodservice operations experience. Knowledge of food trends, cost controls, and presentation. ServSafe certification (highly desirable).
Salary
$75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
