Administrative Assistant - Dermatology Perform a variety of administrative support duties for the Department of Dermatology and department physicians and APCs.

This position will likely be hired at a level II; may also consider level III. More details will be shared during the interview process.

Responsibilities

Provides administrative support for physicians, and coordinates patient needs, communicating with clinical staff, the prior-auth group, and other teams as needed.

Create and maintain files, compile reports, and manage, store, and disseminate information, ensuring security and compliance of information.

Supports provider licensing & credentialing.

Collects, organizes and analyzes data for specialized reports.

Coordinates the collection and preparation of operating reports.

Schedules appointments, coordinates meetings and conferences, and may order & maintain office supplies.

Make travel arrangements.

Other duties as assigned.

Levels and Experience

Administrative Assistants, II

– Requires at least 1 year of related experience; completes routine tasks under moderate supervision; Grade S14 with pay range $17.00 to $22.50.

Administrative Assistants, III

– Requires 3+ years of related experience; completes assignments with little supervision, may assist less-experienced team members; Grade S16 with pay range $18.00 to $26.00.

Work Conditions Nearly continuously: office environment.

Physical Requirements

Nearly continuously: sitting, hearing, listening, talking.

Often: repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking.

Seldom: bending, reaching overhead.

Minimum Qualifications EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT :

1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
