Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Clerk in Hagerstown, Maryland. You will work Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm. The role pays hourly at $22.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift premium for 2nd shift. Pay is weekly.

Responsibilities
Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
Uses the WMS system to update area or shift metrics as needed.
Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries (often technical/confidential).
Performs floor work and additional duties as assigned.
Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift; maintains filing systems and documents.
Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in his/her area of support.
Coordinates activities/meetings/communication for the specific area or shift.
Performs other duties as assigned depending on area supported or location specific.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year or more clerical or warehouse experience (preferred).
One year or more experience operating forklift equipment (preferred).
One year or more experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) (preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates customer service skills.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
