US LBM
Brand Vaughan, a division of US LBM, founded in 1946, serves professional builders and contractors in the Atlanta, Buford, Columbus, Madison, Athens, and Lake Oconee areas of Georgia. The Door Assembler I role is located at the US LBM facility.
Responsibilities
Work on a pre‑hung door assembly line.
Stock doors, frames, plates, and other components for door assembly.
Assemble components under the direction of line leaders.
Load, bind, and stack finished products on carts or pallets inside and/or outside.
Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.
Maintain a neat and organized work area.
Assist in the set‑up of component assembly processes.
Monitor production workflow and assist other areas as needed.
Operate all equipment necessary to the assembly process.
Adhere to established safety rules and regulations, maintaining a safe environment.
Comply with the company's attendance policy.
Assist in maintaining an organized work environment, including emptying trash receptacles and keeping staging areas clean.
Provide excellent customer service and participate in a positive work environment.
Monitor inventory as required by location management.
Maintain awareness of the work environment to produce error‑free, damage‑free results.
Participate in and complete assigned training.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
Prior carpentry experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Ability to read a tape measure and use a hammer.
Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns.
Availability for overtime as needed.
Adherence to all policies and standards.
Commitment to workplace safety.
