Hours & Location

Monday – Friday every week; occasional Saturdays

3:00 pm – 11:30 pm

Repair/maintenance shop at our Biloxi, MS hauling site

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment

Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts

Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)

Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns

Conduct safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every employee and community is a priority

Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times

Assist senior Mechanics in project work

Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports

Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and perform all work per established safety procedures

Qualifications

2 years of relevant work experience

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Be over 18 years of age

Legally eligible to work in the United States

Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations

Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Required to exert physical effort, including frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constantly standing, walking, and grasping; occasionally sitting and balancing

Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, etc.) often

Required to be exposed to physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements often

The job operates in inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity
